Women's Leadership Network
In recent years, women in ACSA leadership roles have expressed strong interest in an organized statewide Women’s Leadership Network to support female administrators and to provide greater networking opportunities in local areas. In 2008, ACSA Region 8 launched a Women’s Leadership Network, which hosts regular networking events. Members are also involved in advocacy at the state and federal levels, including a trip to Washington, D.C., where ACSA's Alice Petrossian and now-U.S. Assistant Secretary of Education Thelma Melendez De Santa Ana met with California Senator Dianne Feinstein.
